Todd D. Gartrell

Age 61, of Eaton, Ohio, went to be with his parents and brothers in Heaven on August 12th, 2023. Todd was born in Richmond, IN, to the late Rodney & Marie (Mann) Gartrell on April 26th,1962. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Terry and Rick Gartrell; and stepson, Andrew Azzalina. Todd is survived by his beloved fiance of 21 years, Patsy Blakenship Gartrell; brother, Randy (Kathi) Gartrell; sister in law's, Joni and Debbie Gartrell; Nieces, Gabrielle "Gabby" and Hannah Gartrell, Chelsea and Brooke Smith, Amber (Chad) Gartrell Michaels; nephew, Zach Smith; step daughter, Tarin (Kevin) Azzalina; grandchildren, Alina Hood, Aryia and Colton Naji, Tyson, Tristan, and Reagan Azzalina; special friend, BJ Collins. 

Todd was a hard working man. He was a proud Ironworker and loved his ironworker family. With a true heart of gold, Todd would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. He loved caring for those he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. When the house smelled delicious, you knew Todd was baking something scrumptious or grilling the world's best brisket. Todd was a Cincinnati Bengals fan and enjoyed watching them play football. He also liked to travel, ride his Harley, fish, or spend the day on the golf course. He was a one of a kind man that will be missed by those who knew him. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center (3377 US RT 35 EAST WEST ALEXANDRIA OH 45381) from 2PM to 4PM. The service will start at 4PM and burial will occur at a later date. For condolences, please visit www.rlcfc.com.
