Norman Coleman Obituary

Norman "Steve" Coleman, age 74 of Brookville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 6, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton after a short term battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Steve was born in Lookout, KY on December 23, 1940. He worked at Main Auto Parts in Miamisburg and Dayton as a Counterman and Manager for over 40 years, and was a member of the Farmersville First Baptist Church. Steve was a member of the Moose Lodge in Miamisburg, enjoyed sports of all kinds, fishing and Nascar. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, was a loving husband and father; he will be truly missed. Preceded in death by his father, Oliver Coleman in 1999.Steve is survived by his wife Sondra "Sue" (Stiver) whom he married August 17, 1985: mother Theda L. (Francis) Coleman of Englewood,Ohio: daughter Tonya & husband John "J.R." Leach of Moraine, Ohio: grandchildren Gina Leach of Miamisburg and John Tyler Leach of Moraine: great-granddaughter Alexia Ann: sister Miriam Mader of Wisconsin: sister-in-law Nora Stiver of Brookville, Ohio as well as numerous nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.Friends may call on the family from 4:00- 7:00 PM on Wed. September 9th, 2015 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center - 3377 US RT 35, West Alexandria - Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Thurs. September 10th at the funeral home. Pastor Tom Vorhis presiding. Burial Preble Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton.
