Jerry F. Baker

Jerry F. Baker, age 64, of Eaton, Ohio, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Richmond, IN. He was born in Oxford, OH to Delman Baker and Myrtle (Walker) Evans on August 7, 1958.

What is there to say about Jerry? Well for starters he loved cars, everything about them, whether it be racing cars, driving cars or working on cars. He enjoyed cars so much that he opened his own business just so he could work on them, He was that proud owner of Jerry's Garage in Eaton, OH. He enjoyed watching Pawn Stars, Storage Wars and American pickers. He was an excellent baker, and of all the things he could bake, one stands out above the rest, and that was his pineapple upside down cake. Though Jerry may have loved cars, one thing he loved more than anything was his family and spending time with them. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers; Rick Baker and Jim Randolph. He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years; Ranice, his daughters; Stacy (Kevin) Melling and Louann Baker, his grandbabies; Contessa, Kassidy (Saul), Tierrah (Justice), Kevin Jr., Kaitlyn (Kerestin), and Karrissa, his great grandbabies; Constance, Sophia and Paisley, and we can not forget to mention his furbabies; Abby, Boo Boo and Brutus, along with nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jerry will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center, with a funeral service starting promptly at 1:00PM with Minister Mark Alvey officiating. Burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
