Jean (Might) Jaques

Jean Jaques

73, of Camden, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 13, 2022.

She was born February 16, 1948 in Wilkesville, Vinton County, Ohio to the late Jack B. and Flossie M. (Reed) Might.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda “Benji” Jaques, and sister, Maxine Hubbard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Matt Jaques; children, Cathy Dull, Julie (Matt) Caylor, Joyce Abner, David Jaques, Sara Jaques, Michael Jaques, and Adam Jaques; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Jean had been a member of the Eaton First Church of the Nazarene since 1973, and she and her husband were foster parents for 27 years.  As a talented seamstress, Jean made many of the clothing her children wore while growing up.  She had worked at the deli counter at Miller’s and Marsh grocery stores.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 19 from 10AM to 12PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381.  The funeral service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Jim High officiating.  Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
