Gloria Sizemore

Gloria L. Sizemore, age 76, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon March 1, 2011. Born May 24, 1934 in New Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Elmer & Goldie (Hawthorne) Bernheisel. She had formerly worked several years for L. & M. Berry and Orbit S & D. Gloria enjoyed playing cards with friends and loved to play Bingo at several Dayton area locations. Former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Trotwood and had formerly attended Union Pentecostal Church in Trotwood. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Oscar " Lewy" Sizemore on May 1, 2001: grandson David Hale in 2004: sister Elizabeth "Betty" Baker in 2010: and step son Rick Sizemore in 1986. Survived by sons & daughters-in-law David & Evelyn Hale of Iowa; James C. & Mealie Sizemore of Kettering; Robert E. & Gina Sizemore of Brookville: grandchildren Paul Hale, James Sizemore, Jr., Shelby Sizemore, Andrew Sizemore and Madison Sizemore: great grandchildren Athena, Elizabeth and Victoria Hale; and Colton Sizemore: step children Debbie Moore of Englewood and Jeff Sizemore of Beavercreek. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Friday at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM.
