Donna Mae (Myers) Nolen
was born on February 19th, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Graham and Margaret (Humphries) Myers.
Donna was a very special person who loved everyone she knew and never met a stranger. She loved George Jones and went to many of his concerts with her special neighbor Maggie Gehron, among other George lovers. She loved to shop and sew and loved her Kentucky Wildcats but most of all she loved her family with a fierce passion and was very protective of them. She was a true loyal friend, and everyone loved her. Unable to have children of her own, she mothered so many other children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John, whom she loved dearly; sister, Carolyn (Myers) Fryman; brothers, Donnie Myers and David Myers; and very special best friend, Laverne “Vernie” Tomkins.
Survived by siblings, Danny (Pam) Myers, Cathy (Myers) Gibson, Dale (Charlotte) Myers, and Deborah (Myers) Robinson; several special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and so many friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 12 from 12PM to 2PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Darrell Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
