Bob Williams

83, of Eaton, suddenly went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 29, 2022.

He was born May 2, 1938 in Preble County, to the late Thurman "Brownie" A. and Hazel M. (Neaves) Williams.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Marvin T. Williams, Rosetta M. Miller, Janice D. George, and Larry A. Williams.

He is survived by his sons, Rob Williams, and Wayne (Shawna) Williams; wife, Karen; grandchildren, Scott Williams, Kimberly (Mark) Pace, Karen Victoria (Thomas) Allore, and Kassandra Wesley; great grandson, Kyle Pace; and sister, Shirley Goodwin.

Bob had been a truck driver for over 40 years and started as an owner/operator, then went to work for Emerson.  Over the course of his career, Bob was awarded several Million Mile Awards for being accident free.  His real passion was in dirt track racing and was awarded the Mechanic of the Year in 2016 at Eldora Speedway.  He was tremendously proud of his family for following his footsteps at the track and loved his pets.

****The family will receive friends FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4 FROM 1-3PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381.  The funeral service will BEGIN AT 3PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
