Victoria Weldy Obituary

Victoria (Wallace) Weldy, 70, formerly of Dayton, OH, of Ft Pierce, FL, passed into eternity suddenly on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Born August 5, 1948 in Louisville, KY, she was a daughter of the late George and Peggy Carroll. She is preceded in death by husband Thomas E. Wallace on April 4, 1998 and by sister Laura. A kind, caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother, she had been involved in various community activities, including the Miami Valley Council Boy Scouts of America, where she served as den mother and cub master; and other adult leader capacities for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts; and also supported many youth athletic organizations. She enjoyed her work as a travel agent and worked many years for AAA and Allworld Travel. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Dayton. Survived by husband Jerry Weldy of Ft. Pierce, whom she married in 2002; sons Kerry Oliver and wife Lisa of Dayton; Monty Oliver of Darke County, OH, and Edward Wallace and wife Miyuki of Guam; and grandsons Jacob (April) Oliver and Jonas Wallace. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US RT. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
