Velma Rodefer Obituary

Velma M. Rodefer, age 94, formerly of West Manchester, OH and resident of The Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, OH, passed away Thursday night January 29, 2015. Born August 14, 1920 in Miami County, OH, she was a daughter of the late Ernest & Emma (Davis) Warner. She worked several years at NCR in Dayton, was a member of Painter's Creek Church of the Brethren and had attended the Eldorado United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband John Rodefer on July 1, 1994: brothers Robert, Clarence, Russell and Harold Warner. Velma is survived by son & daughter-in-law Kenneth J. & Denise Rodefer of West Manchester: grandchildren Andy (Melissa) Rodefer of Eldorado; Tim (Emily) Rodefer of West Manchester; and Mike (Stacy) Rodefer of White Pigeon, MI: great grandchildren Abbey, Corbin and Dane Rodefer: sister Irene Thompson of Greenville: and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Eldorado United Methodist Church - 351 N. Main St. - Eldorado, OH. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Terry Campbell presiding. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Brethren Retirement Community for their kindness and care.
