Shirley A. Grover

Shirley A. Grover, age 72, of West Alexandria , OH, passed away Thursday morning, October 9, 2014 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Eaton, OH. Born December 14, 1937, she was a daughter to the late Clarence and Melissa (McCarty) Shiflett. Shirley loved sewing, crafts and woodworking, and had a love for traveling. She traveled the United States and visited every state, besides Alaska. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Sanford Earl Grover who she married on June 6, 1956; grandson Michael Dearth and sisters Bernice Reed and Margorie Smith. Survived by her children Rodney Grover of Eaton, Oh; Renae Clopper of West Alexandria ; Kelly & Kim Grover of Texas and Randall Grover of New Lebanon, OH : grandchildren Daniel & Michelle Grover of West Alexandria; Pricilla & Aaron Nelson of Manchester, KY; Julita & Kyle Scruggs of Newcastle, IN; Samantha & John Grover of Middletown, OH; Joseph & Jamie Wilbur of Washington; Selina & Anthony Tidwell of Indianapolis, IN; Darik Wilbur of Vandalia, OH and Natalie Grover of Vandalia : step-grandchildren Misty & Kiere Holley of Eaton; Heather & David Siler of CA; Jenny Sutton, Racheal Winters, Carrie Sutton and Kelly Ann Sutton: as well as 28 great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and brother Donald & Diane Shiflett of Eaton. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 11:00 AM- 1:00PM at the - Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt 35 - West Alexandria - Funeral services to be held at 1:00 PM following the visitation.
