Donald Ray Crowe

Donald R. Crowe, age 66 of Brookville, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 26, 2016. Born on May 13, 1949; he was a son to the late Raymond and Lucille (McFarland) Crowe. Don was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corp, as well as a member of the Brookville AMVETS and VFW. He was a family man. He loved spending time with his very special grand-daughter Jaycee. Don loved sports, dogs and playing "words with friends" on the computer. His sense of humor and his kind heart will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings Douglas Edward Crowe and Jaunita Crowe: brother- in- laws James Steck and Donald Cummins. Don is survived by his wife Maribeth (Montgomery) Crowe of Brookville: children Rani Deighe Crowe of Athens, OH; Zachery Lucas Crowe of Brookville: precious grand-daughter Jaycee Ray Crowe: siblings Mary Steck of Englewood,OH; Phyllis Cummins of Lewisburg,OH; Carolyn Morabito of NY; and Terry L. Crowe of Eldorado,OH: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In Don's own words: " I am dead, truck's for sale!" Memorial services in honor of Don will be on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from NOON- 3:00 PM at the VFW on Carr Ave in Brookville, Ohio, come and spend time remembering Don, and raise your glass and make a toast in his honor.
