Carol Ann Souers

Carol Ann Souers, 83, of Gratis Township, Preble County, OH, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Astoria Nursing Home in Germantown, where she had been a resident since December of 2019. Born October 26, 1936 in Bryan, OH, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Talena (Nichols) Partee. A graduate of Middletown High School, she married Bobby C. Souers in June of 1956. She had worked for several years as an X Ray Tech at Middletown Hospital. Carol enjoyed making and teaching others to make ceramics in her Gratis Township home ceramic studio. She also enjoyed doll making, sewing and embroidery and served as a 4-H advisor for several years for sewing.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on March 14, 2013 by beloved husband Bobby C. Souers, Sr. Survived by children Kim Coffey and husband Mike of Eaton, Bobby Charles Souers, Jr. and wife Jenny of KY, Elisa Roberts and and husband Gregory of TX, and Steven Souers and wife Lisa of Gratis Township; grandchildren Carol Ann, David, Jessica, Lexington, Lindsey, Cody, Mallory, Mitchell, Courtney and Hannah; great grandchildren Dustin, Michael, Brenda, Jackson, Brice, Korben, Dane, Samantha, Levi, Reid, Callan, Ford, Tristan and Maddux. Graveside services will be private. Carol will be laid to rest next to husband Bobby at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley.
