Barty Hellard Obituary

Barty J. Hellard, 78, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Sunday morning, August 12, 2018. Born June 7, 1940 in Sandgap, KY, he was a son of the late Thomas and Dula (Morris) Hellard. He served with the US Marine Corp from June of 1957 - June of 1960. He retired as a truck driver for Ernst Concrete after 30 + years of service. He enjoyed playing golf, card games and going to the casino; and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Miamisburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son Jeffrey J. Hellard and sister Eula McQueen. Survived by wife Patsy A. (Bishop) Hellard; daughters Debbie Pridemore and husband Mark of Brookville, OH and Karen Neff and husband Robert of Beavercreek; granddaughter Heather Williams and husband Zach; great granddaughter Paityn Williams; brother Kenny Hellard and wife Irene of Kettering, along with a host of other family and friends. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
