Tammy Buffenbarger Obituary

Tammy S. Buffenbarger, of Eaton, OH, went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening, December 17, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 12, 1964, she was a daughter of Larry A. & Beverly A. (Bond) Garwood. After working several years for RexArc in West Alexandria, she became a Patient Care Tech at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She later volunteered her time and support in the Oncology Unit at Reid Hospital in Richmond; and had attended the First Baptist Church in New Lebanon. Survived by loving husband Benjamin L. Buffenbarger whom she married July 17, 1982: beloved children Clinton J. Buffenbarger & wife Brenda of West Alexandria; Brandon S. Buffenbarger & wife Ashleigh of Eaton; and Taylor E. Buffenbarger of Eaton: grandchildren Tre, Tori and McKynlee Buffenbarger: parents Larry and Beverly Garwood of West Alexandria: sister Jodi L. Willsey & husband Bill of Camden, OH and their children Brannon W. and Jordan A. Willsey: and many other loving friends and family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Pastor Stephen Betts presiding. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
