Lucille "Lucy" J. Brabant

Lucille "Lucy" J. Brabant, age 90 of Dayton, OH earned her angel wings on January 11, 2018 at Ohio Hospice of Dayton after a short illness. Born August 22, 1927 to the late Horace Monroe & Ruth Mae West. Lucy retired in 1986 from St. Elizabeth Hospital. She loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Lucy loved cookies & coffee; going to the casinos; and was known to be a "Wii" bowling video game champ at Friendship Village Retirement Home. She was a sweet, kind, caring, loving mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Robert "Bob" R. Brabant in 1996: brother Horace, Jr. : sister Winifred : special friends Jenny Kloth & Judy Sever. Survived by her children Jerry & Pam Brabant of Florida; Susan & Ralph Fugh of Dayton: grandchildren Lori & Jerry Sever of Brookville; Micki Wahler & partner Gregg Fugh of Mississippi: great- grandchildren Rachel (Sever) & Jesse Hubbs of Brookville; Rosalynn Sever of Eaton: great-great-grandchildren Josiah Hubbs, Paityn Lehr, Gunner Hubbs: sisters Mary Henderson of Dayton; Barbara Walker of California and Sister-in-Law Dorothy Lertz of Dayton.as well as many nieces and nephews & friends. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Thursday January 18, 2018 at the Baker- Hazel-Snider Funeral Home- 5555 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45415- Funeral service to follow at 1PM .Burial Calvary Cemetery, Kettering, Ohio.
