Leota Williams

Leota Williams,87, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away Sunday evening, March 12, 2017. Born September 22, 1929 in West Liberty, KY, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Virgie Mae (Cox) Gilliam. A loving mother and grandmother, she was a stay at home mother taking care of her family. Leota was faithful to her Lord and attended the First Baptist Church of Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on September 1, 2014 by her husband of 68 years Edgar Williams; two brothers and two sisters. Survived by children Ella Williams of West Alexandria, James Williams and wife Linda of New Lebanon, Paul Williams and wife Quimby of Lewisburg, and Doug Williams and wife Becky of Louisville, KY: grandchildren Valerie Snyder, Greg Williams, Timothy Williams, Christopher Williams, Tyler Williams and Zach Williams; great grandchildren Gabrielle Snyder, Aaron Snyder, Whitney Williams, Courtney Williams, Wyatt Williams and Dakota Williams. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Stensaas presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Eaton First Baptist Church. Burial Preble Memory Gardens.
