Laymon F Miller

Laymon F. MILLER, age 74 of West Alexandria, OH passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday December 9, 2015. Born on August 23 , 1941 he was a son to the late Melvin Edward and Willa Genevieve (Presnell) Miller. Laymon did various jobs including packing, strip line, and working in the compound department at General Motors, and retired after 29 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served from 1959-1963. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and was a member of the Rod & Gun Club; but above all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Donna Russell and Lawrence Edward Miller. Laymon is survived by his wife Carolyn Miller of Centerville, OH: children Laymon W. Miller (Linda) of Grand Bay, AL; Michael E. Miller (Delores) of West Alexandria; Lori Dutton of TX; Tammy L. Burns ( Regnoid) of West Alexandria; Sherrie Jackson (Rick) of Bowling Green, KY: step- children Tonya McGuire (Russ) of Centerville and Gary Russell (Brandi) of Atlanta, GA: grandchildren Scotty Fitzgerald of Theodore, AL; Sidney, Lex and Scotty Jr. Fitzgerald of Grand Bay; Angela Dawn Miller and Ashley Farrell both of TX; Nick Allen of Dayton; Marissa Dutton of Dayton; Brooke Ann Marie Choraceweitz of West Alexandria; Jordan Tyler Burns of West Alexandria; Ryan Farrell Burns of West Alexandria; Ezechiel Ryan Burns and Malachi Wayne Burns both of West Alexandria; Allison Leigh Jackson and Chase Alexander Jackson both of Bowling Green; Harley Wicks, Madison Wicks and Autumn Russell; Caitlyn Killian and Cian McGuire; and Cody Raduenz : 6 great- grandchildren: siblings Janice Rainey (Wayne) of Oakland City, IN; and Brenda Tackett (Jerry) of West Carrollton: special friend Dorothy Miller of West Alexandria: as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family members.
