Jerry L. Ross

Jerry L. Ross, age 75 of Richmond, Indiana passed away January 9, 2017. Born in Eaton, OH on January 26, 1941. He was a Technical Service Representative for NCR Corporation for 17 years in Dayton and Battle Creek, MI, where he resided for 35 years. He worked 29 years for The Grand Trunk Canadian National Railroad before retiring to Richmond in 1997. He was a lifetime member of The Ira Beck Masonic Lodge and Shrine in Battle Creek where he was an active supporter of the DeMolay Boy's and Shriner's Hospital programs. He was also active as a Boy Scout Leader of Boy Scout Troop # 344 in Battle Creek. He was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist and Surety Community Churches in Richmond and was an active supporter, with his wife Faith Karen, of The Relay for Life and Alzheimer's Walk for Life. He served 1966-1972 in the USAFR at Wilmington, OH as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. He is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Edna Ross and grandson Lane Ross. He leaves behind, wife Faith Karen Ross, daughter Julie Dennis ( Billy), son Tony Ross, granddaughter Thea, granddaughter Magan Dennis, grandson Jonathan Skinner of Atlanta, GA; brother Dale Ross (Cheryl) of Dayton, and uncle Lewis Ross (Suzanne) of Trotwood. Internment services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday January 12, 2017, at Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center, 3377 US RT 35 E, West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Rodney Anderson of Surety Community Church presiding. Viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service.
