James Betzner Obituary

James Edwin West "Dougle" Betzner, 85, of West Alexandria, OH, entered into eternity on Monday afternoon, March 21, 2016. Born May 3, 1930 in Biscoe, Arkansas, he was the son of the late William Brooks & Mabel (West) Betzner. He retired from the Cement Masons Local Union. He always put out a huge vegetable garden and raised both cattle and hogs on his Twin Township farm. In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by beloved wife Nelda Betzner: sons James and Timothy Betzner: grandson Paul Bowers, Jr.: and sister Patricia Milton. Survived by children Phylissa Gutierrez, Glenn Betzner, and Melinda Bauer: grandchildren Johnny Early, Misty Early Wilder, Elizabeth Early, Anna Early; Sarah Betzner Crowe, Luke Betzner, Micah Betzner; Aaron Betzner, Caleb Betzner, Danielle Eakins; Nicole Betzner, Thomas Betzner, Kiley Betzner; Phillip Betzner, Christina Betzner, and Gabriel Betzner Marcum: 26 great grandchildren: sister Martha Fason of Little Rock, Arkansas: brother William Brooks Betzner, Jr. Of Hazen, Arkansas. A Service of Remembrance will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Gateway Baptist Church - 705 N. Barron St. - Eaton, OH. Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center entrusted with arrangements.
