Elsie M Brewer

Elsie M. Brewer, age 61, of Trenton, OH went home to be with the Lord, Monday October 19, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton- Butler / Warren County Facility. Born May 3, 1954 she was a daughter to Andy & Mae (Keith) Day. Elsie graduated from Edgewood High School in 1972, and married her husband Ralph that same year. She did many meaningful things throughout her life and gave family and countless friends hours of selfless time and energy. Elsie volunteered for the Wayne Twp. Life squad, was a Board member of Jacksonburg Village Council, became an ordained minister in 2007, and Co-Pastored at Providence Church of God in Middletown, OH. She enjoyed trips to Michigan and loved to sing, listen to gospel music and read the bible. Elsie was a wonderful cook; great advisor and communicator; she will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her twin brother Bobby Day. Survived by her husband of 43 years Ralph L. Brewer, whom she married on June 30, 1972: sons Preston L. (Jackie) Brewer of Jacksonburg, OH; Justin D. Brewer of Jacksonburg: grandchildren Taylor, Cheyenne, James, Cody, Faith and Hunter: parents Andy and Mae Day of Trenton, OH: siblings Mike (Pam) Day of Hamilton, OH; Juquita (Aaron) Boehm of Middletown, OH: sister- in- law Barbara Settles of Monroe,OH: brother- in- law Johnny Brewer of Lexington, KY: aunts Patricia (Charles) Kidd of Middletown and Bette Ballard of FL: special nieces Robin Schneider of Monroe and Linda Moberly of Keller, TX: special friends Ron (Kathy) Oberle of Newberry, MI: as well as numerous other cousins, extended family and friends. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 am - NOON Friday October 23, 2015 at the Poasttown First Church of God - 6376 Germantown Rd, Middletown 45042 - Service to follow at Noon.
